Battle of the Beanfield

Political Drama: In 1985 two students, Mish and Sam join a peace camp to protest against the development of a US Nuclear Missile Base. After being evicted from the site, they join a group of ‘New Age Travellers’ enroute to establish the Stonehenge Free Festival. Meanwhile, at the Wiltshire Constabulary plans are underway by to ensure this popular rock festival is cancelled.

Hard hitting drama that explores the events leading up what has been named ‘The Battle of the Beanfield’. This multimedia production is based on true events and including footage and photos from journalists.
